For the very first time, Roy will be selling his famed cult-favorite panettone here in NYC. He and Dominique created an exclusive new custom flavor together: Caramelia Chocolate Orangette – a double chocolate panettone with light-as-air fluffy chocolate dough studded with chunks of Valrhona Caramelia (caramelized milk chocolate) and candied orange peels, finished with crunchy pearl sugar on top.

Serving Size: 1 kg panettone, serves 1-12 depending on how hungry you are!

 

Slicing: Cut the panettone in half through the paper mold and cut the half into desired slices.

 

Storing: From Roy panettone has a shelf life of 30 days. To preserve its freshness, keep it tightly sealed in the bag that it comes in and store it at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight.

 

Serving: Enjoy panettone at room temperature or lightly toasted and pair it with a coffee, tea, or dessert wine.

 

About Roy Shvartzapel:

For 15 years, Roy Shvartzapel has traveled the globe, working for and learning from the most important gastronomic figures of our time, including Pierre Hermé, Ferran Adria, and Thomas Keller. After conceiving and launching his own standout bakery, Common Bond in Houston, Roy has now embarked on his next endeavor: from Roy, a luxury bakery on a quest to deliver the finest products in the world. From Roy’s first offering is the iconic panettone. Mentored by the world’s panettone master, Iginio Massari, Roy has spent the better part of a decade obsessing and perfecting what he calls, “the Mt. Everest of the baking world.” What begins with simple mother yeast or “lievito madre” (flour, water and the yeast which is present in the air) is cared for and nurtured with the utmost precision and dedication and then, using the highest quality standards, is transformed into one of the most special products in all the pastry and baking worlds.

 

About Tali Krakowsky:

Tali is the co-founder and Head of Brand and Strategy at From Roy, and a Senior Director of Design Systems at Coinbase. Previously she lead Visual Systems for Facebook App, and prior to that she was the Executive Creative Director and Design Partner at Prophet, a global brand strategy and design firm. Tali’s lifetime pursuit and obsession in Experience Design has led her career, both in her day jobs and in the co-creation and development of the vision of From Roy, which seeks to bring joy and access to exquisite pastries for everyone, everywhere. Tali has worked with global clients such as Citibank, Bloomingdale’s, BMW, Chanel, Crate & Barrel, Ford, Google, HBO, Sephora, and MAC. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design, and a Master of Arts from UCLA’s School of Architecture.
